I believe this is the last game of Division 1 in the Central League. Andrew having declared his luck had run out let me deal with drawing the colours and as in every other game this season I got
black as did Gonzalo who drew the colours for Dunfermline. In the end Badgers Brook had white on boards 1 & 5 and black on boards 2, 3 & 4.
As an interesting trivia point apparently this was the first time since 1974 that Ian Robertson had played for Dunfermline in the Central League without being on board 1.
As far as the games went first to finish was board 4 where Stuart and Gordon agreed a draw fairly quickly out of the opening. Next to finish was my game against Ian where I offered a draw in a
fairly drawish position and it was accepted although unfortunately I offered it just after Gordon had left (who could have offered a lift home!). Gonzalo won a piece early in the opening and
converted his game at around the same time Mark & Jamie agreed a draw in a level position. Last to finish was Andrew against Volodymyr where Andrew had a small advantage and managed to
convert the endgame to draw the match overall
